This was for my friend's son's first birthday. She wanted a rubber duckie theme. The tub is cake covered in strips of fondant that I painted with americolor, the bands were painted with luster dust, the bubbles and ducks are gumpaste, the baby is rice crispies covered in modeling chocolate.

One of my first cakes. Bleh. This was before I discovered the icing tip. LOL But it turned out ok :) It was for a friend's little boy. I'll be making him a Cars cake next month! All BC except for the "soap", which is fondant.

Here's the main cake for the Rubber Ducky party :) I even did a rubber ducky themed baby shower for this boy. He loves his ducks! I guess he liked the shower decorations ;) "soap" is fondant. All else is BC.

Two tiered marble cake with chocolate butter cream filling. All decorations are MMF with the exception of the ribbon and the lolly-pop sticks! I was asked to incorporate a rubber duck, blue and white plaid, a wooden floor, a tool box and tools - and this is what I came up with. LOL!!!!

Baby shower cake that had the lovable rubber duckie theme. What made this one special was that this is how the father to be will know he'll be having a little girl! Three torted and carved 9x13 cakes. Red velvet with Baileys btcm filling. Rubber Duckie was made out of rice krispie treats and covered in fondant, airbrushed yellow. Bill and wings hand made out of fondant, same as suds, soap and rug. "Tiles" were laid in fondant and used ruler to mark them.

Two, 10 inch rounds covered in BC and the outside, soap, towel, and bubbles are all fondant. The ducks are just toys. I got this idea from a CC friend. Thanks

I sure learned a lot of lessons making this cake! Paisley is rubber stamped onto side of cake with some fondant pearls and royal icing. Top and bottom tier have sparkling sugar.

Started with a two layer 9x13 cake, carved out the surfboard from the top layer and used the pieces to extend the bottom layer for the water. Used Wilton's Sparkle gel, in a tube, for the water. It really has a cool look to it. The rubber chicken is because the birthday recipient collects rubber chickens.

This cake is covered in MMF with MMF waves, bubbles, soap and sign. The effect of the water on top is done using blue colored piping gel. Rubber duckie is covered in buttercream. This cake was duplicated from a photo someone found on the internet, so I don't know who to thank for the design.

First, I want to thank DianeLM for her rubber ducky cake...I basically copied it. I believe her's was all fondant covered but I used buttercream for the icing and then used fondant for the bow, dots, and bubbles.

The large cake is made with the 3-D Wilton pan and the small cake is hand carved. The duck's bill on the small cake is a piece of orange candy melt.

This was for my son's 2nd birthday. He likes ducks so we went with that , combined with a construction theme. ;-) The hard hat is made of fondant, shaped over a bowl.

Made for a young lady turning "Sweet 16" with a rubber ducky luau themed party. I was given a copy of the napkin for inspiration, but free reign from there. The bottom tier is yellow and the top 2 tiers are chocolate cake. All covered in buttercream and fondant. The bottom 2 tiers were hand painted and the fondant topper was handmade. Other fondant pieces were cut. Thanks for looking! Happy Decorating!

this was made to match the invite. 1/2 sheet with BC icing and fondant accents. Coloring is airbrushed on. Writing on cake is done on foam board for scrap book use by Mom to be. I was given creative freedom with this one, just the invitation, and I really like the turn out of this one! TFL

My cousin had a rubber ducky theme for her baby shower but I didn't want to do the standard rubber duck cake so I made the bath tub instead.
