Lemon cake with lemon pudding in a oval shape. I covered the cake with white fondant and then used gumpaste for the rope and flowers. The white dots are buttercream.

I'm very happy with the whole presentation of this cake. Worked hard on making better roses and leaves. Still learning!

9" Hibiscus FBCT for a girl's 9th BD. Had a hard time w/fill-in lines & somehow had deep ridges in the transfer...waited for it to thaw on the cake and crust over then smoothed w/viva to fix. Fun none-the-less!

This cake is a 10" round and a 8" round cake. Fondant bow, with drop flowers. I really had fun doing this cake, but could not get it smooth to save my life. I think that the overall cakes looks good, but the lime green icing and the pink icing did not look as good as it could have.

This was a fun cake to make!! The number and name are royal icing and the flowers, leaves, circles and balls are all mmf. Iced in buttercream and filled with raspberry.

This is a little cake (about 6" square) that I put together for a good friend's birthday. White cake, chocolate buttercream and TONS of fondant. The design is a take off of a Bronwen Weber cake I saw in one of my decorating magazines. Sides of the pot were painted with gel colors mixed with pearl dust and alcohol. The flowers were airbrushed with Super Pearl.

This cake is for my husband's cousin's sweet 16!
I had another cake (2 tiered) but it ended up on the floor just as i was decorating it.
Everyone told me to just go buy a cake, but I put this together in a few hours. I hope the bday girl likes it.

Mini cake with pink buttercream icing and bright orange fondant flowers. I hated this when I did it, but it's been a favorite with my customers so far. You never know!

My 2nd attempt at a tiered cake. 2 layers each of 8", 6" and 4" cakes. I used buttercream and lots of different types of candies. Piping is a little wobbly. My daughter didn't notice.

This is my first wedding cake. It is my gift to the bride and groom. The main dessert is a chocolate fountain, but she had a cake topper made so she needed a small cake. The bride requested these 3 of her 5 colors for the wedding. She also wanted the ribbon added. This was a fun cake to make. Hope they like it! I will post photos from the wedding after the weekend. I would love any comments you have. Thanks for looking!

This cake has writing all around. It says to love, to care, to trust, to share, to laugh, and to live. I was inspried by another cake on this website to do the colors and the flowers. I think that the color are a beautiful combo. Oh yeah, and I messed up the writing on the top at first (was trying to write on the blue icing), so I just threw on some MMF and wrote on that. It actually looks better that way so I guess you do learn from your mistakes huh.

This was a request with these colors and they wanted them diagonally across the cake with fushia writing. and lavender butteflies. I did as they asked and also added some white chocolate butterflies incorporating all the colors.

I know this doesn't look like a cake for a bridal shower, but the bride specifically requested a yellow cake with chocolate icing.

This is the first cake I ever really "decorated" so I used icing out of the can. The flowers are fondant and cut with varius sized cookie cutters. It matched her shower invitations which were light pink with hot pink, orange, and yellow daisies on them.

This is a cake I made in April 2007 for a friend's daughter who was turning 13 years old. The bottom layer is 8 inches and the top is 6 inches. Both cakes are white cake with cookies and cream filling. It is iced in buttercream, and the flowers are made out of fondant. Even though there were some issues with this cake (the top layer is leaning, I couldn't get the icing smooth, etc.), I was really proud of how this one turned out!

The design of this cake was left to me. So I tried to use the color from the invitation. A lot of fun to make. Everybody loved the little shoes

I copied a picture of a cake that the customer requested. It is strawberry cake with vanilla strawberry mousse. 8, 6, 4 inch tiers, buttercream with fondant accents that have been painted with luster dust. The only problem...it LEANED like crazy. You can't see that from this angle, thank goodness!

I made this cake for my friend's daughter's 1st bday. This is her smash cake,
I have a caterpillar cake to go with it, I will post it tomorrow when I put the
finishing touches on it. The cake is chocolate with buttercream icing.
The cookie is sugar with royal icing. First time using the Viva paper towel
method for smoothing - fantastic!

I made this cake for a co-worker's birthday that was also on Mother's day. She asked for white with pink and orange daisies with green centres and that's what she got! LOL! It's an 8" chocolate cake (using the WASC recipe) with chocolate cookies 'n cream filling. Hope you like it!

Made for a 10 yr olds bday party. Both the 10" and 8" square cakes are strawberry with strawberry buttercream filling, and the Monkey I made using the mini 3D teddy bear pan is chocolate cake. All buttercream frosting, orange and pink ribbons are fondant.

Coconut cake with pineapple filling. I thought this combination would be nice and light and perfect for summer. I saw a cake here with similar colors, so thank you whoever you are for the inspiration.

I have been looking forward to this cake for awhile and was very happy with how it turned out. It was for a co-worker's daughter's sweet sixteen party. They absolutely loved it. It was a 14" square(WASC with raspberry buttercream filling), 11" round(WASC) and 6" square(chocolate with caramel buttercream filling). Duff's buttercream frosting and decorations are mmf except for the 16 which was made out of pastiage(sp?). I need to thank Surferchic, I got my inspiration from a similar cake she posted. TFL.
