I made this Finding Nemo cake for my son's 2nd Birthday. He is a HUGE fan of the film, he has a duvet cover withit on aswell, so this just seemed the obvious choice for his birthday cake.

This was my first cake ever. I found it in a Debby Brown book and couldn't resist. As you can see I didn't know about modeling paste so the egg's came out a little droppy. Now I know for next time!

I did this cake for Easter with my husband's family and for our niece's an my father-in-laws birthdays. It was the first time I've ever used a novelty pan or covered a cake in stars. Everything is fake - the cake was a Devilsfood mix, the Bavarian Cream filling was out of a plastic tube, and icing was Wilton Buttercream out of a five-pound bucket at Hobby Lobby. Please feel free to email me at ohbucko@aol.com, just put WHO WANTS CAKE in the subject line please.

I made this cake using fondant. I then traced the picutre of Bob using the pin prick method and used royal to pipe the outline and then hand painted the inside. I used royal for the sides of the cake and the piping.

Modelled Bratz - Sasha "Bunny Boo" for a little girls 5th birthday. Modelling paste made from Renshaw regalice and CMC, which is excellent for making the sugarpaste very pliable. Luster dust used to finish look.

This was a novelty cake I was asked to do for a friend. I tried to experiment by putting a backdrop of New York skyline and also a sign post. The picture quality is really bad - sorry.

This was a cake I did a couple of weeks ago, but I forgot my camera and had to wait for the photographer to send me the pics! Cake was a basic vanilla 1-2-3-4 cake with mango, coconut and key lime IMBC fillings and IMBC frosting under the fondant. I modeled the bride and groom after the actual couple. He has a Harley like the one on the cake and the bride wanted to incorporated it into the design. Harley is not sugar, but its sign is. Bride and Groom were all fondant - flowers as well.

I have a friend who I tease because everytime we come over for dinner she serves us spaghetti. We're going for dinner again and she promised it wouldn't be spaghetti and i'm to bring dessert. So, I'm bringing spaghetti & meatball cupcakes! They're from Dede Wilson's Field Guide to Cupcakes. (Oh, and my daughters helped me with these. :) )

A citrus-tangy, candied orange peel flavoured basketweave cake with a difference - the fillers are tiny orange flavoured cupcakes covered with fondant flowers. A very pretty and opulent oriental-influenced cake, with rich lustre. For special parties, anniversaries, and birthdays.

I made this cake for my mother's birthday. She loves Russell Stover candies and I made her a double chocolate cake with buttercream under the rolled fondant. Ireplicated the 2lb box and placed the real candies on the top! The bow is painted fondant. I paint with wilton food colors and shimmer dust.
