This was my first attempt doing a rebel. He turned out good, but now that I look closer...my borders are a little crooked! Oh well, I will have to do better next time!

This little bugs are not done yet (need eye lashes and the little bugs need their legs) but I will be doing them later. They are for my daughters 2nd b-day next month. Their are made of Marshmallow Fondant. Time consuming but lots of fun to see the end result.

I did this cake for a co-worker who's transferring to another job. She loves Spongebob, so I thought this would be perfect. It was a white cake with vanilla pudding as the filling. I did the Spongebob as a FBCT.

To make Miss Spider I used a small ball pan and a donut hole for the head. Her feet are done using string licorice. I found a tea set and placed it around her. The little girl loved it!

This is my first and only wedding cake so far. It was for the wedding of
Mr. Q and Miss U. This special wedding was in my daughter's K-5 class
to teach the children that Q and U are almost always together to make
a special sound. My daughter was the bride. The frosting is all buttercream
and the cake is 2-6" layers and 2-9" layers of white cake. The topper is
from my own wedding cake 14 years ago.

This is for my DD second bday. Although I am not too thrilled with the little Fondant pieces, they were my first try. She loved it. I had wanted to put a tree on the cake, but just ran out of time. Some things came up and prevented me from doing the tree. All in all I think it turned out okay.

Okay, I am sooo happy I finally got to do this cake!!! I was dying to do it! It was for my little girl who turned 2 this past weekend. She LOVED it!!!! I will post a how did I do it later on... on "How Do I" forum.. The characters are MMF, the tree is chocolate cake (I used soup cans to bake the cakes in that shape), the flowers are MMF and the cake is vanilla/almond with 100% Crisco buttercream. It was delicious and everyone LOVED it!!!

I made this for our school counselor who was going to a different school. They wanted a goodbye/ goodluck cake and I thought this was good enough. My sis and I made an actual cake like this once for someone at her work, and I decided to use it again!

My daughters' daycare director is leaving, so I offered to do a cake for their farewell party (as an attempt to get more business). Unfortunately I didn't have much time to do this, because they moved the date up 5 days after I volunteered. Chalkboard, chalk, and apple are fondant. Everything else is BC.

I made this cake with fondant and a little bit of black and red gel icing. The stripes on the tablecloth are painted on red gel and a small paintbrush. Miss Spider's legs are red licorice. The only thing on the cake that isn't edible is the bee and dragonfly wings (wax paper)

It is a white cake w/ rasberry mouse filling. It was harder than I thought to work with such a large cake! Hopefully next time it will go smoother.

my mom wanted this to give to her boss's kid. it started out as "just do a little thing as a gift to him" and turned into "the whole office is going to need to eat cake now because the boss says he wants the cake for a party they are going too have for his son at work" it's good to be the boss now isn't it? imagine having your kid's birthday party in the middle of the day at work!

This one is for a young lady that is leaving to become partner in a dance/gymnastics company. I have seen other versions of this cake here on cc and this is what I decided on. I took pic before adding ribbon to the cake base (it was green w/ sheep).

Birthday cake for an 11 yr old classmate of my DD. He insisted I make his cake after he tried the teacher cake in class. 11x15 all MMF BC yardlines Colonel Reb was made with red fondant using a punch pattern. Face was colored in with white BC, outline was done with blue paste & fine tipped paintbrush. Neighbor drew in facial features for me, as I am NOT an artist!! Goal posts were added right before delivery.
