1st birthday cake for a girl. 1st time to do leopard print and I didn't have an airbrush, I did it with the Wilton spray cans. It was time consuming.

This was for a lady turning 30. Her theme was this hot pink leopard print. She wanted something really fun!

The nursery was jungle themed. They asked for this, the zebra striped is cream cheese frosting (on request), the toys are made from candy melts & leopard spots painted on. The baby is a cupie doll from Hobby Lobby & I made the leopard diaper. All then trimmed with pink - for a GIRL!

For a combo mother/daughter. Boyfriend wanted the corny plaque in front (oh well). Not a true whimsy cake but I like the effect anyway.
B/C with fondant riboon roses/leaves, royal names. Writing is not symetrical with bottom part of cake...oops!

The mask is pastillage painted with airbrush color, the leaves, quills, and grass are gumpaste. I painted the leopard print with sponge brushes.

This was a practice cake for an upcoming graduation cake in African Studies. I entered it in the 2006 OSSAS and received 1st place.

My thanks to Mac here on CC for the basic inspiration--I'd never seen the cheetah girls and I needed some great ideas! The cake is 10" and 6" covered in fondant (colette's recipe). I handpainted the cheetah spots. The sunglasses, microphone, name, and number are gumpaste painted with luster dust.

Pink leopard print for little girl's first birthday. Plate and invitation provided. All iced in buttercream with edible image surrounded by luster dusted buttercream pearls. 9" double layer round and 5" smash cake. I think this is one of my favorites so far. It helps that the girl is just a doll!

10" square cake with fondant. I rolled out the background light pink, then laid dark brown rings, and spots of hot pink inside, then rolled it all together and painted with luster dust. I think I would have added more spots!

Spongecake with caramel buttercream filling and sugarpaste. The instruction was to make an 18 cake with BLING! I used shattered clear mints for the top crystals, silver lustre dust and edible glitter. Sugar crystals around the name badge.

This was for a girl's 18th birthday...just dinner with family. They told me to do whatever I wanted, and I'd been wanting to try an animal print. I think it would have been great had I gotten the colors much darker & spaced the spots farther apart. Someone who saw the picture of the cake thought it was supposed to be giraffe print...LOL!!! Oh well, next time I'll know better. To make the print smooth, I piped the spots with a large tip and then pressed them flat with a paper towel & a fondant smoother.

This is a 2 layer 1/2 sheet cake covered in pink tinted fondant (that was a pain to do!). There is a tan fondant ribbon around the border that is hand-painted with a leopard print pattern. The silhouette and other embellishments on the cake, except the lettering, were done in tinted fondant.

I love MMF it was so easy to put on th ecake, not to mention it took less than 5 minutes to make the MMF. I painted on the cake with Wilton coloring gel by adding vodka to it to thin it out. I had so much fun. This was my 1st cake for my tiered and fondant Wilton Course.

This was my first "stacked" cake. It was my niece's 1st b-day cake. There was a little smash cake that matched next to it. It was chocolate on top, vanilla on bottom, all buttercream.

The customer is having an "Adorable Idol" birthday party for her daughter. She sent me a photo of the child dressed in her "Diva" outfit for the party. I designed the cake around the photo. Cake is decorated in buttercream with gumpaste stars attached to wire (my first time having something "stick out" of the cake). Thanks to cambo for the cake plaque inspiration!!

This cake accompanied the main wedding cake. I wanted the bride to have something that represented her funkiness. She has lots of tattoos and is very artsy. I put her and her groom's names across the middle. The cake topper is supposed to look like a tattoo design. The perriwinkle sections coordinate this cake with the main one.

This is a cake I made for my neighbor's jungle themed 50th birthday party. The leopard spots are painted directly on the buttercream. The zebra print band is with MMF. Many thanks go to Sugarflowers who gave me this idea...my version is nowhere near as good as her award winning cake!

Betsy Johnson themed cake. The grad is obsessed with this fashion designer. Cake is covered in fondx. Air brushed leopard print. The lips and cherrys are fondx. Buttercream trim balls. I just used real bows (didn't have time to do edible one's). The shoe is gumpaste with sugar crystals for some bling.
