First attempt at reverse shell. I like it! Once you get the pattern going. The sides of the cake and smaller reverse shell around the middle and letters are dark green. Interesting excercise figuring out how to do the top one color and the sides another.

This cake is a 10" round and a 8" round cake. Fondant bow, with drop flowers. I really had fun doing this cake, but could not get it smooth to save my life. I think that the overall cakes looks good, but the lime green icing and the pink icing did not look as good as it could have.

This is a last minute 1st birthday cake I did for my niece. I was in Atlanta, GA the night before so I baked the cakes after I got home that night and decorated the next morning. I make the little 6" round for the birthday girl to smash her little fingers in. She had a blast. Cake is half chocolate and half white in each layer with hazelnut buttercream filling.

This was made with the last confirmation cake.
The mother wanted a pretty shoe and a horse with. But it was to big to set on the cake, so I made a plate to keep on the side.
All is made by gumpaste.

This is using the set of 6 stars from Wilton, I did 1 of the largest size, 2 of the next, 1, then 2, etc and ended up with 10 cookies in the tree. Cookies are NFSC, covered with airbrushed fondant and Alice's Cookie Icing for details and holding it all together between layers. This was for a display. Wish I would've taken the pic before I packaged it. Oh well! Thanks for looking.

As i dont have a airbrush up and running yet to get the colour affect of the green i coloured my fondant with 2 different gel colours and then with a like a blusher brush i dusted it with 3 different greens and i think it looks like i have airbrushed i was so thrilled... the quad bike is all fondant as are the couple and the fence posts and the little flowers around the cake. was made for a farming couple of course.

This was for a teenager's birthday. White cake, buttercream icing, with MMF accents and bow. I thought 2 days would be long enough for the MMF loops to dry, but boy was I wrong! The bow gave me fits. I finally decided to stack them and add the daisies on top. I was upset, but the birthday girl didn't know the difference!

I made this for my BFF's birthday. It is white cake, buttercream dream frosting anf MMF. It was SO easy!! I copied the design / color from a beautiful 3 tier cake someone posted in purple catagory. Now that I am more comfortable with using fondant now, I can design my own cakes!!

This is my first attempt to make my grandsons birthday cake. It turned out better then I thought it would. It was delicious anyway, and the kids enjoyed it.

This is my son's birthday cake inspired by bcake1960. Choc cake with pastry pride and Rich's bettercream. Was hard pressed to find army toys ANYWHERE so the sizes were off, but he was happy with it so I was too.

Experimenting with cupcakes before I have to deliver my first order. They want dragonflies and butterflies, green and purple, for a christening celebration. Can't figure out how to get the icing smooth on a cupcake!

I made these for my daughter's wedding 2 years ago. I copied them exactly form the magazine she showed me. Can't remember the magazine to give credit or the designer. Thanks to whoever you are!!! Cakes are 8x4's. French Vanilla with raspberry filling on top of one tier. The rest are cake dummies. They were my first wedding cakes and use of fondant. Practiced for several months before the wedding. To scared to use all real cake! We had lots of pastries to serve anyway. (Fondant addition begins)!
