This cake was created for a lady that has been diagnosed with cancer and the doctor instructed her to drink lots of Gatorade. So the school where she works is having a Gatorade party. I was thinking along the lines of the orange thermos container but the ladies wanted a gator. Many thanks to beachcakes for her directions. This is from 2 9" X 13" cakes and 1 8" cake. Buttercream frosting and slivered almonds for toenails.

This cake was made for a groom's "honeydew" party. All of his friends are LSU fans and he is the only Florida Fan so we thought it would be fun to have the two mascots together. Cake iced in buttercream, with hand molded fondx figures and car covered in fondx. Fondx boulders, icing image plaques, chocolate alligators. Not sure if it is clear in picture but the gator is actually dragging the tiger with a chain connected to the back of the convertible.

This is my very first BCT! I saw this cake on CC and managed to find the same image on the web to use as my transfer. The kids were so happy to eat their own name!

As a loyal Georgia fan, it was very hard to make this cake (kidding). Gator is a chocolate transfer, and strawberries are striped in orange and blue chocolate. Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, and ganache on top.

This is a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. He wanted it to be in the Florida Gators colors. I added a gator on top but the picture didn't show how cute he is.

I made this cake for my son's kindergarten graduation. On the chalk board I added all of the kids names from his class. The gator is the mascot of his school and the ladybug was one of the topics that they learned about. I will add one more picture of the back of the cake.

Team spirit cookies for my fellow Gators at work. I had a lot of fun making these, but I wasn't thrilled with how smushy the cookie turned out. I also wish that my royal icing would have been smoother. For being my third attempt at making cookies, I guess I have to realize practice makes perfect so I'll keep trying.

Royal icing gator head ... looked perfect until I tried to put it on the cake. I was pretty upset it broke apart. Don't know what went wrong. Made for the National Champ game tonight.

Cake for big game last week. Unfortunately, the bucks lost, so it kinda looks silly now.

The body is yellow cake with a almond BC filling. The head, arms, legs and tail are all RKT covered in BC then in Fondant. I had less than 24hours to make him and this was his 3rd head so while I would change A LOT of things (like the mouth, sleeves and legs) I am without a doubt happy about the results. The dowel was removed after transportation.

I must give LaJuana a million thanks for her help and her inspiration.

Four Foot Gator. Made with creamy white cake and covered in fondant. Would have been easier with an airbrush! I'm getting one soon!Maybe then I'll be able to get the shading like ellepal's!

I decided to create a John Deere theme cake for my son. He loved it, despite the fact that on the way home from class my cake went flying when I stopped at a red light! I'm learning that MMF is a little more forgiving than BC.

This cake turned out way better than I had ever hoped! Definitely better than the brides cake that went with it. This one is cut to shape chocolate cake with whipped choc. ganache filling and buttercream icing. I used the letter cut outs with the fondant to write the bride's sentiment to her groom - "I love you more than Gator football".

For a true gator's fan, this all chocolate cake was topped with candy coated strawberries in Gator colors. The father of the groom asked for "a little Cubs and Yankees" to be added.
