This is the right photo, I hope. I made this cake a few years ago when the basket weave cake was really popular. This cake was four tiers and each tier was a different flavor. I arranged the fresh flower topper also.

My first wedding cake attempt, as well as my first upload on this site. Please leave feedback. The cakes were two layer with bc icing and fresh flowers on top. There are swirls on the sides with a leaf border on top and a bead border on bottom. The flowers were done by the florist to coordinate with the bouquets.

Buttercream icing with edible fondant pearls covering entire cake. The wedding was done in red and pink, which was a beautiful color combination. Fresh flowers adorn the cake.

This was a white cake filled with Raspberry Buttercream. You can not really see the side but there is pale blue scroll work that matched the bride's maid's dresses. There are fresh flowers arranged on top. They matched the Bride's bouquette.

This is my second wedding cake and I was so nervous! She left everything up to me, only told me the colors. I iced it in buttercream and decorated with all flowers from my garden. Thanks for looking!

This was the first cake I did after I finished my cake classes. I did all the scroll work and flower placement on location. The chocolate iced was white cake with rasberry filling and the ivory iced was chocolate cake with white chocolate pudding filling. We served each piece with a rose petal, it was elegant and tasted so moist. My family loved it!

This is a 6x10x14 french vanilla cake with BC. She wanted no filling, just icing. I did not care for the background color, but.......what can ya do?? The florist was supposed to spray the roses with blue, but she didn't.

BC Icing on white cake....when I got to the wedding site the bride hands me a 5 gallon bucket of fresh flowers and a pair of scissors...this is what I came up with using every flower in that bucket, it was an outside wedding and I had an audience watching me set up and arrange the flowers the whole time ohhhhing and ahhhhing and calling to others to come watch the cake lady..was too cute indeed :o)

This is a 6", 9", 12" and 14" buttercream covered cake. The scrolls are freehanded with buttercream icing. The ribbon around the bottom of the tiers is fondant painted with super pearl luster dust. The fresh flowers were provided by the florist and I placed the flowers around the base tier.

White cake, vanilla-almond butter cream with faux fondant frosting. 16, 12, 8, 4" layers. My nephew and his fiance asked me to make a wedding cake with fondant and fresh roses for them. I used toothpicks with gum paste rosebuds to hold the flowers on the cake. It had been many years since I decorated a cake, and I had never done one with fresh flowers. Luckily the roses in the garden were nice. Thanks to Sewsweet for the frosting recipe!

I created this cake for a garden wedding reception. I did a large basket weave about 3/4 up each layer using butter cream icing and a shell edge. Fresh flowers helped transform this cake and I loved using the floral cones from Wilton to create a drape of flowers that cascaded down the side. Bride and Groom were happy and so was I!

MMF over cakes and to create the initial "E". Lace mold on 2 layers to "duplicate" her gown and simple swiss dots in RI on 2 layers finished base off with a fondant "ribbon". Brushed the "E" and swiss dot layers in luster dust. I arranged the flowers to compliment her shade of orange with mini roses and white lilies. I made this cake for my co worker's sister--they all wanted to know why she asked me to bring a "fake" cake:). Thank you tbittner &prettycakes (CC) for help with the lace mold--my 1st!

Fondant covered chocolate cake. Top tier is a heart. Each tier has little dots arranged in mini triangles. I had so much fun doing this, but I can't believe how stressful it is!

My first wedding cake for my sister and her husband. Cream cheese pound cake with buttercream icing, and fresh flowers. Huge cake 16", 14", 12", 10", 8". Was disappointed with the Wilton Tall Tier cake stand, it broke while cutting under the weight of all the cake and buttercream.
