2 Layer Apple Spiced Cake with Caramel Frosting. Frankenstein is a FBCT, "Bubble" is MMF painted with Foodcolor, so are the Ghosts and the Spiders are half Licorice and BC

I made mini cakes for my coworkers for Halloween. These are 4" rounds, butter cake, 1 layer, torted and filled with pumpkin butter. Buttercream icing covered in fondant. Some turned out better than others. I think this was my 4th time working with fondant.

I made these Frankenstein cakes for a Halloween Party this year. They were made with the mini Spongebob Pans. I thought the shape was perfect. I used M&M eyes and mini marshmallow bolts on the side. Everything else is buttercream icing. I even tinted the vanilla cake green!

These monsters were a big hit in first grade. Monster heads are marshmallows dipped in tinted white chocolate. Eyes are mini m&m's, bolts are tic tacs. For more fun, these cakes were filled with green pudding

Got this idea from the Michael's website. Long loaf pan Red Velvet Cake decorated with buttercream. Her eyelashes are black licorice pieces.

Just 1 of the 6 I will be offering for the Halloween Holiday! Sugar cookie with the Wilton Snow-white Buttercream frosting. (I thin the frosting to a consistency that is easy to pipe!)

My first attempt at decorating cookies. They were fun, but labor intensive. No-fail sugar cookies (I used 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract...YUM!) with Alice's icing, following Antonia74's tutorial. Definitely got some practicing to do, but they were fun, I'll do another batch closer to Halloween!

These were made for a child's class. I used wiltons large batch sugar cookie recipe. It was my first time using that recipe. It tastes okay but I will be looking for another recipe to try for next time. Royal Icing was used for the face. Idea from many CC cookies.

Franky is standing with arms extended looking to haunt, LOL. His body is made form rice crispy treats covered in fondant. His head is white cake colored red filled with buttercream (I didn't color that due to the gross factor). His head is covered in fondant as well and his stiches are buttercream. Happy Halloween!

I did these for my son's preschool Halloween party...NFSC with MMF cut-outs and buttercream details. I got so many compliments from these...and a lot of potential orders to come!! (I put a label with my phone # on the back)...

I saw this on here, but made with MMF. Well I'd never made MMF and it didn't work! I made the icing and decorated, and delivered this in 45 minutes! Still, a cute idea!

This is one of two pictures of the two different cakes made for a joint October birthday party. I thought he would be the hard one and the pumpkin the easy one but it was the other way around. These are before I started my Wilton classes. Store bought cake mix & canned frosting. Ears and eyes were chocolate candies; nose part of a cake cone.
