Cake for the Childrens Easter Party at the Firehouse. Everyone was petrified the cake was falling and could not understand how it was done. Those who knew, just laughed. The cake and the cupcakes were a hit!

These are cookies that I made this afternoon to send my grandkiddos for Easter. They are very soft, rolled sugar cookie with royal icing. There are Easter eggs, bunnies, chicks and butterflies. Thanks to AgentCakeBaker for the idea for the bunny face......it's ADORABLE! (My camera flash died....so it's not the best quality picture!)

I made this cake for my DH to take to work, I wanted to try out my egg cake pan. He does not like Buttercream so much, so I made a lemon cake (1/2 the egg) covered it with Chocolate/Brandy Ganache and decorated it with little BC flowers. April 2007

Thanks to adarabia for the inspiration, Although mine did not turn out even close to as good as hers. I attempted to use the wondermold pan, which did not work. The fondant would not smooth out for me and was ripping. I ran out of fondant or I would have tore it off and started again. Anyway the kids loved it

I decided to make something different this year. I never made one before. I just used my imagination since we didnt have a egg pan at the bakery I work at . I just sculpted the cake from 5 5inch cakes. with a 1/2 of a 5 inch cake to make the opening in the front of the cake.

I just took a Spring Piping Class and I had a lot of fun, so I practiced on these. I will freeze them for Sunday, Hope they keep their shapes. It's just a little experiment. I lightly sprayed the green and blue on the white icing.

Cookies I did for my son's Easter Party at school today. Christmas-cookies.com's BEST sugar cookie recipe and royal icing. Wanted more color variety, but lost a piping bag in the dishwasher and didn't want to mess changing out colors. :)

NFSC, MMF. Here are a few cookies with decorated eggs. You can't see the detail of the bunny's face in this photo, but you can in the other I posted. I didn't take pics before I bagged!
This cutter I bought from Simon's is so much fun!I decorated some eggs with pearl dust and wrote names on them.

Sour Cream Lemon Cake filled with lemon curd and layered in white chocolate ganache covered with MMF. This is the very first time I've ever tried Cornelli lace and, unbelievably, I'm happy with the way it turned out! (Yay for me!)

This didn't quite turn out how I planned... first attempt at pretty much everything from the recipe (carrot of course - what else would rabbits eat??) to the spray colour... guess that's what experimenting is all about!
