Finally!! I learned how to make stabilized whipped cream. This cake if filled with the same ingredients used in the decoration: whipped cream, strawberries and peaches. I placed 3 candles in the center. Too bad that people were in such a rush to eat it that I was not able to take a pic with the lighten candles.

This is an Elmo birthday cake done for my grandson Ryan's second birthday. It is a 2 layer cake, one layer golden, one chocolate. Just could'nt make up my mind. The nose is an orange ping pong ball! The eyes are cookies covered with icing.

I was using a disposable camera-no film in our regular camera for these photos-but these are a few more of the holiday cookies I made for the first time this December to give out as a few gifts. Recipe is the no fail sugar cookie and the antonias royal icing recipe.

Wanted to do something special and fun so made these! Eyes from M&Ms, hair from sugar cookie dough (and some covered with chocolate), lips from Hot Tamales, suits from fruit leather and ties from flattened Starburst :)

No Fail Sugar Cookies with Antonia's royal icing. These were made for my son's preschool teachers. They LOVED them! So did my son. He ate four of them! Ha!

I am new to decorating but made these from many of your inspirational cookies using the no fail sugar cookie recipe and the antonia royal icing. Both recipes worked great and I had alot of fun! These were given to a few friends as holiday gifts. Thanks for looking!

My 5 yr.old granddaughter and I made this cake and I let her decorate it herself. I just filled the icing bags and turned her loose. She has been staying with me since she was 8 weeks old. Maybe she picked up some cake decorating tricks.

Shown are butter cookies that I cut out for a fall cookie club meeting. I used royal icing on the tops and swirled some food color on the top of them with a toothpick in the wet royal icing.

My daughter, Cheyenne, had two birthday parties this year. The first one, for her friends, I decorated the cake. She loves to watch me make cakes, so I thought for her second party, for family, I would let her do her own. Her sisters helped her. She got to pick out sprinkles for this cake. Needless to say, her cake is more sprinkles than cake or icing! LOL

I made these for someone who belongs to a tandem bicycle club and wanted some cookies for a club get-together. It was really fun to try to figure out how to "draw" them on the background cookie, especially since I am not into mechanics. I hand cut the design and then used royal icing for the details.

I made these for someone who was having an adult pirate-themed b-day party. She had seen my sample ones at our farmers market booth and liked them. I changed the design to suit what she wanted. This was what she wanted without any other details. A lot of fun to make! Used no fail recipe with antonia's royal icing for details.

I was just messing around with this cake. It is just a white cake with bc icing and purple scrolls. The scroll work kind of sucks but practice makes perfect. I gave this cake to my niece since she loved my son's wedding cake and did not get any extra before I took it into my work. So I just decorated it for her.

My son and a couple of neighbor kids wanted me to make a cake. The deal was, I bake the cake - they decorate it! There were three kids, age 10, age 8 and age 7. I think they did a pretty good job on what they titled, "The Boonies Cake".

My 5 year old has been playing with the left over icing in bags - and there was quite a bit when I finished Spongebob and his friends. So she went to town on 2 dozen cupcakes. Notice Saturn with the rings, a sunset, rainbow, clouds (in white and blue), a grasshopper and flowers. She has caught my decorating bug! She is decorating my birthday cake with my friend/business partner - can't wait to see!

First try at cookie making. Sugar Cookies w/ RI, Sugar & Spice Cookies and candy-mold hearts - chocolate and cinnamon flavored. They at least taste good, maybe one day I'll get the icing down...

My seven-year old son made this cake for me for my 40th birthday. He loves to watch me decorate, and he tries everything I show him. Daddy baked and iced the cake, but he did all the decorating and the words by himself!

These are two variations of the cookie boquets that I did for easter. I found the tins at Wal-mart for $1.00 a piece and loaded up on them. On this order I also included 6-2" chocoalte chip cookies, I had originally planned on putting them in the tin also, but didn't want them to dry out so I will have to figure out something else for next time.
