All white buttercream w/ raspberry crm filling. The fence post, hats, boots and tassel buttons are mmf there are two sheetcakes that go along with this. It took me most of a week to make the decorations. The horseshoes are real. I had them welded and painted. With alot of good support, it worked out real good. Everyone loved the cake and it tasted good too! Thank you all for your ideas and inspiration

I panicked when I got this order because they asked for flowers on the cake and I *really* stink at flowers. The cake is for an older lady who likes antiques, and rustic country items, so I came up with this. Little flowers are royal, the rest is airbrushed buttercream.

This was my first fondant cake. I used gum paste for the roses, daisies, and leaves. I used Royal icing on everything else except the blue covering. (The pocket are fondant.) You can't see it very well, but I put alot of little royal icing flowers all the way around the bottom of the cake. This cake looked yummy, but it wasn't really. I'm not real sure what went wrong, lol. At least it looked cute! I got this idea from some one else's wedding cake. :)

I was up all night making this cake...but I feel it was worth it! It was created for a western and rubber ducky themed baby shower. The men, women and children were all invited. The tables were decorated in denim with red bandana runners. In the center of the tables were mason jars, decorated with rubber ducks and filled with daisies. So, I got all the elements in the cake. It was a huge hit when I dropped it off!

I made this cake 6 years ago for my hubbys 25th bday...how much better I have gotten lol... It was made from the horseshoe pan, cut and reattached like a winding road. Hes a city boy and we moved to my hometown...he married a country girl, so this cake was his welcome-ing in! I used buttercream and toys to decorate. The "dirt" was brown sugar and crushed pecans and the trees of course were buttercream on ice cream cones!

Practicing for an upcoming wedding cake (my first)...she is relaxed about design but doesn't want too many flowers...loves daisies and the raffia look...so this is my attempt..first time stacking 3 tiers..I see all my mistakes but hopefully, I will get another chance to do one before the real thing...WASC changed to lemon zest and lemon flavour, SMBC with raspberry for bottom, SMBC with mango/orange for middle and SMBC with pineapple/coconut for top...flowers are silk for this practice .Thanks for looking!

This is my first ever wedding cake...I did a practice one a few weeks ago to see if I could do it and today was the real thing! It is a country type wedding so I tried to give it a "Martha" feel! This was my suggestion to her and she loved it..she didn't really have any sort of idea other than "simple" and "country" and I think I achieved that judging how pleased she was..All scratch cake vanilla on bottom w/ raspberry SMBC and the others are choc tiers with choc SMBC..daisies are GP

This is actually my favorite shower cake ... which is funny considering how clueless I was when the bride-to-be demanded that there be no flowers! This si just buttercream basketweave with a small grapevine wreath and bow... the heart has small greenery wrapped around it. She loved it =)

I went with a semi country theme on this cake. I had a mason jar on top of it with fresh wild flowers and honey suckle. I used the leaf fodant cutter and made the desin on the cake.

This is one of my all time favorite cakes. I made this cake for a couple that wanted a Texas theme. I made the bluebonnets from royal icing and I accented the cake with "barbed wire" fences.

I have made a guitar birthday cake for this guy before, but it was a sheet cake with a mini gumpaste guitar. This time his Mother (my boss) asked me to make a life size carved guitar as a grooms cake. I was excited for the challenge, and I think that it turned out pretty good for a first time carved/3D cake. Neck of the guitar was foar core board covered in fondant. Thanks for looking.

This was the 2nd of 2 cakes that was made for a groom, it went with the Stetson hat in my gallery. This was supposed to be 2 plain on sheet cakes, but I love this customer dearly so I couldn't do a plain ole cake for her daughter, so I went all out.... and voila she got this, which I thought was pretty cute. The table spread is much better but I can't put it in my gallery so please take the time to view it on my website if you are interested in seeing the entire theme together!

For a little girl's 10th birthday. She loves horses. BC, MMF fondant horse, letters, and numbers. I think this one is my favorite so far. Lots of inspiration from many wonderful creators of cakes on CC..... Shalderman, Cheneya, Kellylowe, and Jenhos. Thanx!!

I was asked to make a (last minute) wedding cake, 4 tiers - ivory, red, and black. I was told it needed to have a country western theme, and it was to be all buttercream frosting. They provided their own cake topper.

This is my first attempt at a Cowboy hat cake. I made this for my dad's birthday.
The little dents you see near the top of the cake are from some guy at the party trying to pick up the hat thinking it was real...
