I used a logo on a baseball cap as my reference, used a toothpick to draw an impression on the cake then filled in in with stars. Around the side I lettered "Go Wolfpack ?". I added the ? instead of an "!" because I went to a rival college.

This cake was for my older cousin who graduated from college. It was a vanilla sponge with custard and strawberries. The cake was covered in whipped cream and had some gumpaste flowers on it. The base of the hat was a small chocolate cake for my grandma who couldn't eat the strawberries in the rest of the cake!

I made this cake for my brother's 17th birthday. I used the new stadium pan from Nordicware, and then carved the cake to make the famous "Horseshoe" shape. I used the "Durable Cake for 3D and Wedding Cakes" recipe with chocolate cake mix. I frosted it with store-bought Wilton Decorator icing that I tinted gray, dark gray, and red. The scoreboard and field were made by my sister on the computer. To give you some idea of the scale, the "crowd" was made using Wilton colored non-pareils.

This cake was made for 2 girls in a Jazzercise class who were leaving home for their freshman year in college. The cake is made in the double mix book pan and covered in fondant with a fondant rose, buttercream details, and "before I went to college" written in edible markers.

Birthday cake for a co-worker's daughter who is turning 21. She belongs to delta sigma theta sorority. Crimson and cream are their colors and elephant is one of their symbols. All icing is buttercream except for greek letters which are fondant. Lots of applause for my DH who was a tremendous help with this cake. He helped me find an elephant image to use, colored all the icing and kept his cool while trying to make crimson after three attempts! He also cut out the fondant letters. What a great guy!

A birthday cake for a very proud NC A&T Alumni.

First FBCT. Did not come out as smoothly as I had hoped, but still makes for a great centerpiece.

This is my final cake from Wilton Course 3. I decided to deviate from the wedding cake theme and show my Badger spirit. My husband took some cheap metal cookie cutters and rebent them into the shape of a "W" keep as close to the official logo specs as possible. I didn't have access to 6x6 pans when I decided to bake the cakes, late one night so my husband again helped me make do by rebending some disposable 8x8 tin pans. Overall I think the cake turned out pretty well.

This is my version of "We're Outta Here" from Wilton's 2004 Yearbook. They were three graduates who had roomed together through all four years. They went nuts over this cake! Sorry the picture's so bad, the customer had to assemble the cake on sight, so she took photos for me.

Customer wanted an A&M themed cake for her DH and this is what I came up with. Did a little research online to make sure it looked right. Yellow cake w/BC frosting. Thanks for looking!
