This was a team effort. My husband drew the picture from a cartoon onto a paper and I transferred it onto partchment paper and then unto the cake. I used the Wilton's open book cake pan and butter cream icing.

Okay, I had yet another Sponge Bob and Patrick cake. I thought I would make this one a little different by making it square and added Gary! I don't think my SB and Patrick came out as good as my last one, but I was happy with it! Vanilla cake with raspberry cream filling and of course - Italian Meringue buttercream

This birthday cake was for my wife's friend, Paula, who loves the old Dukes of Hazzard TV series. The two small dogs peeking over the grass are her "furry children". All buttercream icing.

A not so easy cake for me. I thought I was going to go insane doing it. The ear turned out to big and I was not about to fix it-lol. But considering I didn't even think it would look a little good I am pleased. Icing is buttercream of coarse. Cake is strawberry.

A lotta firsts on this one. My first cupKake, this sure was a lot of fun I had been wanting to try one and the mother said whatever I wanted to do was fine. My first time painting a fondant plaque. I was planning on doing a FBCT but when I started doing it I coulldn't get the detail in the face that I wanted, it was comming out to blury, so I copied my pic to some thin fondant, let it dry 3 days and then hand painted in the details. Mom and daughter were very happy, I was feeling pretty impressed myself

This is a FBCT, I put the comic book in the picture in case you aren't familiar with Sonic X (so you can tell it's supposed to look like that!). My first attempt at basketweaving, had no idea it was so easy!

This cake was also for Awana Awards Night. It was the second buttercream transfer I've done and I love how it turned out. The kids really loved this cake. Thanks to everyone who gave me the courage to try a BCT.

This was for a little girl who was born on the 4th of July, so we added fireworks around her name & a red, white & blue border! I was very happy with how he turned-out! I used the "NASCAR" pan, but it was a little long. Next time I may try cutting a portion of the middle out - but that is also a very scary idea! Thanks for looking!

This was for a Youth Sunday celebration. I was told to do anything I want on the cake that might represent youth, but not to make it religious. I figured the Peanuts characters are timeless representatives of youth. They were pleased.

This cake was for a midwife, the only thing I could think of without being crude, The joke on the cake is two ugly parent looking into room full of babies and asking the nurse to be put out of their misery and tell them which baby is theirs, well can you spot it. The other fun part of the cake is at the side, a little wire that the midwife pull to reveal a little baby with the words on it saying a midwifes work is never done then she has to cut the cord to release it, I didnt get any pictures of that.

This was my husband's birthday cake from yesterday. We are huge Family Guy fans and Stewie is his favorite! All of the face/body accents are made with fondant. The cakes themselves were Swedish butter cake with blackberry Italian meringue buttercream filling and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream frosting under the fondant. He was SO much fun to make!! Wanted to do him in 3D but the trip to the restaurant would have been too much for him to survive with that giant football head! Enjoy!

This image was a frozen buttercream transfer. The cake itself is chocolate filled with chocolate ganache. I printed out a picture from the internet and piped over the image with buttercream on a piece of wax paper. It took some time, but it came out just as I had hoped. The birthday boy was thrilled!

My son wanted this cake from Debbie Brown's "Cartoon Cakes" book for his 5th birthday. First cake for me working with fondant. What a pain!! I think I'll stick to buttercream! Base is vanilla cake with strawberry filling, and Tom is chocolate with buttercream filling.

This was a last minute save. A store bought cake was brought to me by a desprate mom. The store just slapped frosting on the cake and piped a line on the base. She had the plastic Dora pieces so I sent Dora on an Adventure. The 3 year old girl loved it! And I got to be the hero.
