Here is the camo baby shower cake that has been designed and redesigned in my head over the last two weeks. Tried the sprays for the camo effect then ended up using buttercream. The blanket is made out of fondant.

I made this cake for a promotion ceremony at my husbands work. He works for the Air Force. It is all buttercream rolled smooth with a rolling pin. Next time I plan to try using fondant to get it smoother.

I took 3 or 4 cakes from this site, and made my own design. Thanks for all of the ideas. I did this along with my other 3 cakes and 48 cupcakes that weekend. I was busy, but praise the Lord for the business. I bought the kit from Wal-Mart as I haven't tried the sculpting thing yet. The entire cake is piped in 16 stars. The creek is from blue bc and piping gel. The customer was pleased.

Ducks Unlimited Head with camo sides. Around the cake is the mossy oak motto "it's not a passion...it's an obsession!!!". This is a chocolate layered cake with all bc icing. This was inspired by cakesbyallison.

Made for a young man with an avid interest in hunting! He requested a "camo" cake for his birthday. The entire cake is airbrushed layering designs and colors to achieve this look. The bottom border was on the cake before it was airbrushed. The top border was made using a #10 round tip to resemble tree limbs.

More "extreme" petit fours! Got this order for camo after delivering zebra striped petit fours. Apparently no one in town will do petit fours anymore so I may really have something here. I really enjoy making them.

White w/strawberry filling iced w/BC 1/2 sheet cake. Birthday Logo is fbct. This is the largest fbct I've done, it stuck to waxed paper, had to stick the whole cake in the freezer to refreeze the bct, it finally came off had to do minor repairs.

This is a hunting themed birthday cake that I made. The sides of the cake are mmf. I marbled it together to make it look like camo. The tent was actually something I made with cardboard and dowel rods and then covered with the same fondant. The deer and leaves are also made of fondant and the trees are florist wire covered with brown florist tape. It sure was alot of fun making this cake and everyone really enjoyed it.

For a Louisiana hunter -Camo top is made from various colors of fondant. I placed blobs of fondant in alternating colors on a flat surface and rolled them together, cut to fit. Devils food cake with oreo filling. Deer and Leaves were plastic. Actual alligator head provided by hunter.

This was my first camo cake and my second FBCT. My mom drew the picture of the buck for me, but it's nose kinda got smooshed. This was for my Grandpa's 65th birthday. He loved it, and didn't want to cut into it!

I did this design (inspired by other simailr designs on CC) at the last minute for a 16 year old boy, that likes camoflauge and hunting. His mother asked for something simple, she was so excited when she saw it.

This is one of two cakes I made within the last two days. This is for my husband's birthday tomorrow. He's a former Marine and now in the Air Guard so I wanted to do a military theme. It's all BC with the dog tags made out of MMF. I smoothed the BC with a viva papertowel and my fondant smoother. Special thanks to duckychickenlady on pointers for getting camo colors. I actually took one of my husband's uniform shirts and matched the colors. It's a 9", two layer cake with almond BC filling.

This was a multi reason cake. This couple got married while he was home on leave, had a baby about the same time and he was to go back to Iraq. We all wished them a happy life and him a safe return.

This is a groom's cake for an avid hunter. I piped the pattern and filled in using a large tip, then pressed flat with a paper towel & fondant smoother. I used a leaf tip for the border. Father of the groom painted the groom's tux camo on the cake topper...too cute!

The wife said she wanted chocolate and her hubby is a hunter, so this is what I did. It's 2-layer 10" square dark chocolate fudge cakes with Godiva Chocolate Buttercream. It was YUMMY!! Homemade MMF leaves to match a camo pattern.

This cake was a for a groom who is in the reserves and is an Indianapolis Colts fan. The cake was made in 3 layers. Bottom 11 X 25, middle 9 X 13, top half of a ball pan. This was a fun cake to do and the groom and his family LOVED it.

This cake should be in the disasters file! Made of mmf, but would not stick together when I tried to roll it all out together, cake wanted to fall apart, etc...
The two rings on the cake are real rings made from ammo.
