This was a class I took. It is all fondant. I even marbilized the cake light blue and dark blue so that when the cake was cut it still looked like water!

My boyfriend and I made this in a dorm kitchen at college the day before the Super Bowl on a whim, so it's not my best work. I used yellow pipe cleaners for the goal posts.

First attempt at a 3-D cake. Just a 9" round with the top and bottom cut flat. I guess it turned out okay. I used Nerds for the rocks, Swedish fish, fruit roll-ups for the seaweed and a can of blue spray for the H20. I used straws inserted into the cake diagnolly to keep it from falling apart.

The birthday girl was having a bowling party ~ the lighting is always so bad in the bowling alley! This is my version of a cake I saw here by mycakesandmore. Thank you for the inspiration! Wilton Sports Ball, 9x11 sheet and iced sugar cookies. Hannah was thrilled when she saw it!

I've wanted to make this cake since the first time I saw it. So I made it for my own birthday this week! 10" chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. Covered in homemade marshmallow fondant. It was tasty!

I made this for hubbys Captains Day at his Bowls club a surprise for the rest of the teams, just to celebrate another year of bowls! Two layer sponge with vanilla buttercream filling, fondant covered. I copied the club badge from a picture and cut out some sugarpaste to the shape and painted the details on.

For a little boys birthday... Chocolate cake with BC and covered in MMF, pins are rolled chocolate cookies with mmf and bc accents. I just used toothpicks to attach the pins to the ball. I also baked the cake in the soccer ball pan. Feel free to leave comments!

This cake everything is eliable except the vines. All flowers are hand made with gum paste and rolled fondant, the decorations in blue are also eliable with two chocolate hearts on sides for bride and groom. This was a cake I did for my daughters wedding, first time doing gumpaste flowers and decorations. I planned her whole wedding including eliable chocolate seating cards.

I was bored one day, so I made a cake shaped like a bowl of popcorn. I saw a picture once of one that was a basket of popcorn, but when I went to make the basket part, the buttercream was too dry from the chocolate and fall off when I flipped the cake over. The cake was okay without the basket part though. My youth group loved it--and someone reached in because they didn't pay attention and thought it was actually popcorn. Haha.

This is the topper I made for a wedding this week. It is made of 18 fondant roses with leaves in a crystal bowl. The foam half ball is covered with red and clear stones.

I used the idea of the flower pot for the cake, covered in MMF and painted on the red. Then the popcorn is mini marshmallows (cut) and dipped in food color;-)

this was made for a coworker who is having her baby via c-section on Super Bowl Sunday. We live in Chicago so of course we are all Bears fans but we also work with quite a few people from Indiana and they are Colts fans so there is a good healthy rivalry going on at the office. The mom to be wanted a Super Bowl Themed baby shower so this is what I came up with. Hope you like it.

This cake is for a Superbowl/birthday party today for some diehard Bears fans. It is 3D sculpted. All cake and BC, then airbrushed to match the logo. This cake was a blast to do, I can't wait for the Bears to win so I can do it again! ;)
