my 1st try at making 2 colour chocolate strips, once again not to bad, but I will make some home made tools to add more of a gap in the white chocolate, (just used a regular cake decorating comb) maybe cut from plastic card board, or a ruler, using my rodery cutting tool.

My Mother asked me to make this cake for her Boss’s Birthday. He loves the Boston Bruins. I added silver balls to the trim to dress it up.

My Daughter loves the Boston Red Sox (who wouldn’t). She wanted a girl themed Red Sox cake.

The logo was made from a gel transfer, and then filled in with butter-cream frosting.

This cake was for a mom-to-be and daddy-to-be who love the Boston Red Sox baseball team and daddy plays electric guitar. The guitar strings were spaghetti painted in silver luster dust. The cake is a 10" with a single 6" round and mini bear pan on top. I love cakes that are made with sentimental touches, it makes them more meaningful to the recipient. Thanks for looking!

This is my first baseball hat cake. The guy is a super Red Sox fan! It turned out better than I thought. White cake, MMF, MMF decorations. I didn't want to buy a dome cake pan so I improvised and used a stainless steel mixing bowl. Worked out perfectly.

My 3rd attempt at a cake. Made it for my sons friend's 3rd birthday. Still working on smoothing my white BC better. Whatever those brown flecks are in the picture weren't on the cake!

Paid job for my sister-in-law's jewelry business. The Boston Terrier cupcakes are for her business and the flowers are for my her niece's business. Sounds like there was quite a bit of chatter about the cupcakes - which always pleases me. The cupcakes are iced in buttercream with a royal icing decoration placed on each. Thanks for looking.

Our nephew wanted a cake that looked like his Boston Terrier puppy Harvard. This is what I came up with. The dog is made out of rice krispies and then covered in rolled buttercream to look like Harvard. They were really pleased.

Thanks for looking, Diane

This is a chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and chocolate frosting. It's covered with white chocolate fondant (that didn't want to cooperate for me...) and decorations are made of pastillage, fondant, and royal icing. Thanks for looking!

I did it...finally, the bill of this cap gave me a fit, and my only regret now is the blues don't exactly match, but in person it looks pretty good!

Finally a cake for Hubby. Chocolate cake w/bc and MMF. Board covered w/royal and painted to look like a baseball - thanks to "someone" here on CC for that idea. Not happy with the brim of the hat though...wouldn't harden so it's pretty floppy looking. Hubby loved it anyway. Thanks for looking!

I made this cake for a co-worker who loves the Boston Red Sox. Chocolate cake with chocolate filling, buttercream dream icing. Mostly freehand. I recieved a projector as a gift and decided to do this cake and use it for the first time. I couldn't get it to focus, so everything was a blur - I just had the places where everything was supposed to be and had a picture next to me to show me what it was supposed to look like. A few flaws, but all-in-all a decent job. Thanks for looking!

Red Sox themed birthday cake for my Mom's 60th Bday (she is fanatic about her Red Sox!). The tiers are tapered and covered in MMF. The numbers are fondant that I cut out in a Red Sox font. The logo & pennant are fondant plaques w/edible images. There are two more logos that you can't see. The 3D baseballs are two of the 63 that we made as party favors for all the guests. They are white choc w/ red colored choc stitches. Thanks to mamacc for inspiring me with her Red Sox vs. Yankees cake.
