This is one Tier of a Wedding Cake I made. I thought this would make a Very Pretty Birthday Cake or cake for other occassions.
The hearts I made...using Wiltons White Chocolate Melts, and colored purple with wilton food coloring paste. then I poured it in the Heart Candy Molds I had, let them harden, popped out and trimmed....and they made wonderful decorations for my cake! I used 2 different Shades of purple to trim the cake!

This cake was for a friends father's 70 birthday party. It was a complete surprise. I was up all night working on the cake and had so many problems, but in the end, I am satisfied and so was the customer. The cake had numerous thin layers, all baked separately b/c they kept breaking when I torted them. Alternating chocolate and caramel filling with buttercream icing. I'm hanging up my cake baking hat for a while. Thanks for looking!

I made this for my sister-in-law to be who's birthday is on the Fourth of July. The bottom layer is white with a lemon filling, covered in whitefondant with red stars. The middle layer is chocolate with a vanilla filling covered with buttercream frosting and rw&b M&M's. Top layer is yellow with chocolate filling, with butter cream frosting, and cut-out white and red fondant stars. I was up until 3 am making this, but I loved every minute of it!

This was for my Father In Law's 50th birthday. I got the figurine at Wal-mart in the Christmas section, he goes to a village or something like that. The text around the outside says "Here Lies My Youth"

Inspired by CreativePastries and also by a post by SugarBlossomCakes where Doug told where to buy the mold for the EGA emblem. Thank you to all three. The Marines really loved this cake. This was a full sheet 18 x 24. Half chocolate and half white with raspberry filling. My first time using luster dust and I love it!

2 Strawberry box mix cakes made in two 6 inch rounds, a glass bowl with 6 inch diameter, and a 9 inch square pan. Wooden dowels (my son wanted to use the whole bag of dowels while I turned my back to tend to a younger brother... finally stopped him on the third!) through the center to stabilize. Arms were cut out of the square cake and "pinned" in with bamboo skewers. Marshmallow fondant over all. I used a Skittle for his red "eye."

This cake was my first encounter with fondant. The base is a white cake with strawberry icing. I could not get this icing to smooth very well, thus the messy base. The train is made of chocolate cake covered in fondant. The decorations are fondant and candy.

I made this for a young man turning 16 today. The bun is WASC Cake iced in BC and airbrushed to look like a bun. The lettuce, cheese and tomatoes are white chocolate fondant. The meat patties are chocolate cake iced in Chocolate BC then rolled in crushed chocolate wafers. I placed rice krispies on top to resemble sesame seeds.
