..yep, another edible image but this one is a little different in that the child and Barney were NOT in the same picture. I did a little photo editing to make it appear that the child is sitting on Barney's lap!

My son's 1st birthday cake. He loves Barney and fish/water. It's a 12in white cake with pineapple filing and a 6in white cake with raspberry filing. Both covered in buttercream and crushed vanilla wafers for sand.

This is the cake that gave me fits to find Barney purple. After it was all said and done, I realized I should have made his belly green.

2-tier buttercream Barney cake. The purple pics of Barney were outlined in piping gel and filled in with frosting. Looking at the cake now the flowers look like little Stars of David....must be the pic as I don't remember the actual cake looking like that. Oh well.

Two tier chocolate with Toba's French Vanilla BC, fondant figurines, sun & flowers, chocolate rocks on bottom and the rainbow is candy melts.

Please feel free to critique - I'm always looking for ways to improve!

CCC (rainbow bit cake w/ Sharon's Sugar Shack icing recipe) with 2 FBCT (my second & third ones... I think they turned out pretty good! Much better than my first anyways!) Fondant letters.

I made this cake for my niece's first bday. It didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to. The color purple is too dark. The circles and lil pink flowers are mmf. I really had a brain fart when I put the 9 in round on that 9x13!!!

This is the details and others view of the cake. I myself, like the border detail. The colours was my brother idea.

The Barney on this cake comes from a birthday card. I cut him out then taped him to a lollipop stick. I always like to icing the candle to match the cake.

This cake was done to match the partyware, but after I put Barney on, I thought it needed more purple, but the customer loved it and that is all that matters at the end of the day! :o) Fondant covered with icing plaque and fondant/gumpaste name.

This cake was made by stacking 18 pcs of "ABC Blocks" cakes, which are 6"x6"x6". The 3D figures of Barney, Baby Bob and BJ were all sculpted in styrofoam and then iced using the star-tip method

One of my coworkers wanted a Barney cake for her grandaughter. I've never done a FBCT and wanted to try one. Doesn't look great, but not too bad for the first try. Chocolate cake with bc frosting. Got the idea from this website. They loved it the cake so thank you CakeCentral! lol

This was for a friend's daughter's birthday. Barney is a FBCT. Still haven't perfected that technique, but I'm really good at doing touch ups :-)

A cake for twins celebrating their third birthday. Another difficult picture to see..I'm sorry. The bridge is styrofoam covered with fondant stones. Everything else is edible except for the figures. The water beneath the bridge is a really dark blue piping gel and there are candy rocks lining it.

Also another character that I could not find a cutter for... husband cut the outline out of plywood one night and I spent the rest of the evening coaxing my weather-stripping around it to get a cutter. These were sent to guests WITH the invitation instead of as a favor.
