I am resubmitting because Pursurette was so sweet to edit out the background for me! Thank you! I made this cake for my DD's 2nd birthday. She was born during a typhoon and on her first birthday another typhoon struck and dad wasn't able to be here. So this 2nd birthday, I wanted it to be special. I used royal icing for the letters and buttcream icing all around. It's 2, 6 x 2 inch on top, and 1, 10 x 3 on the bottom. Thanks for looking!

This my first wedding cake, actually for my own wedding. It is a 6,8, and 10". This my second time actually stacking a cake too, the first time being in my course 3 class. I did not have much time to actually think about placement of flowers, but overall I was satisfied. It felt great to be able to tell people that I made my own wedding cake.

This was made for my son's 10th birthday. The 'Birthday' and '10' are made with melted chocolate, the 'holes' are chocolate buttons and the rest was done in buttercream icing. The bowling ball was a chocolate cake and the pin was vanilla. The boys really enjoyed being able to choose which kind they wanted. However, there was a bit of a scuffle for those three chocolate buttons. Can you imagine having to cut a chocolate button into fourths!?!?

FBCT, Marble cake, Vanilla pudding
I posted this earlier but it looked to plain to me so I added the black and white dots to it after searching the galleries. Much happier with it now.

The brides favorite color was lilac, so the cake had lilac ribbon and white bluebells with lilac centers.

There are several Ben 10 characters, the customer told me to choose. It was a karate birthday party, so I chose this guy because he looks like he is wearing a karate ghi and he reminds me of a grasshopper (as in Kung Fu).

Another cake donated to grade school for carnival “cake-walk”. 10” 4layer torted, dk chocolate cake w/light cherry/chocolate filling; cherry/chocolate BC icing; Halloween toys were randomly placed on cake, some were held on with RI; dowels used to keep cake together since kids at the cake-walk are overly excited to win a big cake! First time I used Jell-O for the icing—I read the tip somewhere here on CC. Great tip! Mixed about ¼ box cherry-flavored Jell-O into the icing and let it set to dissolved. Wow! The BC was delicious with the chocolate cake! One deco you see in the front, tried to make like his ‘body’ was coming out of the cake, but in pix it just looks like I goofed on the icing. Little boy, around 4th grade won this—was jumping up and down with it! (Good thing I used the dowels-LOL)

Stole design from mistiek2006. Thanks! For son's Air Force-themed 5th birthday party. The air traffic control tower is yellow cake baked in a loaf pan and then cut into squares to stack. The lower portion (11 x 15) is 2 boxes yellow cake for the bottom later, 2 boxes chocolate cake top layer. 4 1/2 boxes cake total. Standard Wilton "class buttercream" icing. Grassy areas sprinkled with Wilton sparkles. Die cast airplanes on top.

Made this a yellow 3 layer 10" with reg. bc filling and iced with bc. Used a FBCT and also did my writing with FBCT. (it looks better than my own handwriting straight to the cake.)

This was a lot of fun to make. Ivory Fondant, German Chocolate with SemiSweet Chocolate Grenace filling. 10"8"6" tiered. Flowers are gumpaste, Vines are chocolate fondant and butterflies are image transfers onto rice paper. Lot of work but very happy it turned out.
P.S. The original design was created by someone very talented on this website and I cant find the cake to mention their name!! But whomever it is...Thank you for your inspiration!! PLEASE COMMENT EITHER WAY!!!!
