After producing comical wedding cake toppers like Oh No You Don't and Now I Have You, Wilton draws the line at Breakfast Bliss.

Ha Ha! I'd like to see one with hubby in his recliner holding the remote and the wife standing with several babies, one in arms and 2 crawling around her legs!

I wonder who on this site could do those cakes for fun...(both the pic of newspaper, and the one with remote and kids I bet it would turn out cool.

It should say Husbands-R-Us. My DH always wants to point really closely at my cakes with his big, pointy finger. Whenever he does this all I see is his finger stabbing into the cake. I always tell him...no pointing! Maybe I'm just neurotic but it annoys me to no end.

And that is why your husband does it, and he will probably say he does it because he loves you or because 'you're beautiful when your angry' icon_mad.gif
When my DH pesters me he says he only does it because he loves me and my life would be so boring with anybody else. icon_rolleyes.gif

That is so true m0use...it's like the I'm Not Touching You game to him. He's usually pointing out my mistakes too so he's not getting any brownie points there. Luckily, I love him more than I love cake decorating. It's by a narrow margin though icon_wink.gif .

I love the Pointer Finger story and picture, funny! Okay, who is up to making their rendition of those cakes? If I had the time right now I would as my dad's birthday is Friday but I have LOTS of wedding cake going for Saturday...and dad is the best with the remote now after 51 years of marriage to mom!

I got this in an email--I had to share it with all of you. I'm sure those of you trying to bake with toddlers at home can relate.

Mom's Brownie Recipe

Remove teddy bear from oven and preheat oven to 375.

Melt 1 cup butter in saucepan.

Remove teddy bear from oven and tell Billy no, no.

Add butter to 2 cups sugar.

Take shortening can away from Billy and clean cupboards.

Measure 1/3 cup cocoa.

Take shortening can away from Billy again and bathe cat.

Apply antiseptic and bandages to scratches sustained while removing shortening from cat's tail.

Combine 4 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, and 1-1/2 cups sifted flour.

Take smoldering teddy bear from oven and open all doors and windows for ventilation.

Measure 1 tsp salt, 1/2 cup nuts and beat all ingredients well.

Let cat out of refrigerator.

Pour mixture into well-greased 9x13-inch pan.

Bake 25 minutes.

Rescue cat and take razor away from Billy. Explain to kids that you have no idea if shaved cats will sunburn. Throw cat outside while there's still time and he's still able to run away.

Frosting

Mix the following in saucepan:

1 cup sugar
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter
Take the darn teddy bear out of the @#$% broiler and throw it away -- far away.

Answer the door and meekly explain to nice policeman that you didn't know Billy had slipped out of the house and was heading for the street. Put Billy in playpen.

Add 1/3 cup milk and dash of salt. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for 2 minutes.

Answer door and apologize to neighbor for Billy having stuck a garden hose in man's front door mail slot. Promise to pay for ruined carpet.

Tie Billy to clothesline.

Remove burnt brownies from oven.
