Does anyone use it? How does it taste? I bought a small can of it to try it out and i was wondering if anyone had any comments or suggestions they would be greatly apprciated. I want to just make star cut outs to put on a barney cake. I tried buying candy clay and it was waay to sweet and i even made the candy slay and it was just to chewy so i was wondering how it would work. If not i might try fondany but how does that taste?

I love marzipan. Unfortunately, my family is divided. My future son-in-law loves it, my oldest daughter (future bride) hates it. My middle daughter doesn't like, my youngest daughter does. I grew up with it, make my own and love it, my husband eats whatever treats I make with good grace, but I think he just tolerates it because it is usually adorning something else: cupcakes, cheesecake, etc. Marzipan is expensive if you buy it already made (even though a little goes a long way), so you may want to use it only when you know the consumers will appreciate it. It tastes just like what it is; sweetened almond paste.
