Thanks for the site but how do you create you own names? It just downloads a bunch of letters..

This is a site I use a lot.

http://www.1001fonts.com/

It includes instructions for downloading and installing the fonts which is really easy. Once you install them, you can use them in all of your applications.

Sorry about this silly question, but what do you use the fonts for? Do you do buttercream transfers with them? Just curious, but would really like some feedback.

I use the different fonts mostly for edible images. I've also used them for flyers...anything I write/design. You can get fonts that look like scrabble tiles (I used those on a cake that's in my photos), baby bottles, baby blocks, cupcakes...just about anything. Here's an example of the baby blocks font I used both on a cake and as the page title...

I've used fancy fonts for a gel transfer onto a cake. Print the words out in reverse (mirror image), place wax paper over top and then pipe the letters in clear gel. Once the gel dries you can lightly press into the crusted cake. Voila! -- a guide for writing your message in fancy lettering. An example of this is in my photos: Garfield cake.
