The mother of a woman I know runs an apple orchard in town. Her mother is willing to talk to me about renting out her kitchen to do my cakes. The kitchen will not be available to me all the time, obviously, like during the fall, around holidays, etc., because that's their busy time (mine too of course!) She wants me to come up with a simple business plan, re: how many cakes I want to do, how many/what hours I need the kitchen, etc. It sounds like she'd be interested in me "donating" some extra stuff that I make to her little farm store, like cookies, etc., which I don't have a problem with if the rent is low. I am so excited but I would have to do this at night and on weekends, and quit my job, which I currently work 25 hours a week at night....DH may nix the plan icon_cry.gif because I don't think we can swing it financially, since I won't be making as much as I do at my regular job, at least for a while.

Just needed to share, vent, etc...!! thanks icon_biggrin.gif

You should explain to your husband how much it means to you. The money will work itself out. If it means so much to you he should agree to make you happy... Best of luck!! icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif
