I would love to make a gingerbread firehouse for my husband's Christmas party this year but I don't know where to start. I know this is a pretty specific thing, but does anyone have or know where I can get instructions on making this? I found a great picture from a contest on Good House Keeping but its small and I can't really see all the detail. I would like to make one that looks old fashioned and made out of "brick". Also, can you color gingerbread dough? Do you use regular paste color? The picture I found, the walls are red and the roof is black.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Heather

P.S. Also, anyone have a great gingerbread recipe?!?
