When using candy molds tio shape fondant, when is the best time to remove from the mold? Right away? After a few hours? When dry?

Thanks,

Probably when dry, depending on how hard they are to get out. If there is a lot of detail, they are usually harder to remove without damaging the design. I tend to use a thin bladed instrument to get a bit of leverage when removing decorations. Some will fall right out when rapped on a counter. But dry is usually the best way to go.

I agree with Squirrelly thumbs_up.gif . Just a thought. next time you go to the dentist ask them for an old explorer, cotton pliers or any broken insturment. I use them for small things. Another thing to ask for is Disposable brushes. for color they work awesome.
