Sry ellepal I got a close up of the rings but picture was blurry. (My next lessons should be picture taking...
All I did was make a rope out of gumpaste and made a circle. I then took the end of my paint brush and poked holes all the way around the ring. I then painted it with luster dust and let that dry. When it was dry I took crushed rock candy in put it in the holes for diamonds. For the engagement ring I made a rope, then a circle. For the top I took a piece of gumpaste, made that into a cone. I flattened the big end of the cone and took my paintbrush and poked holes in the middle until I had a lip all around the ring. Painted with luster dust, attached the cone to the rope and let dry. I then took more crushed rock candy and put it in the center with a little help from white royal icing.
Hope that was a good enough visual. THANKS again for the idea...
You did such a beautiful job. i love the colors and the style of it. congrats on a cake well done.
