I would love to do a business of this, but its a bit too scary for me, with my level and such...that I can change, but everything brought up here has my stomach turning, and my head hurting. icon_lol.gif

I'm with you flayvurdfun. I keep asking myself Is this what you really want to do? I think more and more my answer is yes. It is a lot of work, but the positives definately out way the negatives. Now if I can get hubby to turn the garage into a kitchen. icon_lol.gif

I hardly ever check posts on Cake dec business but I did tonight. Email tcrema (my sister) she is on a base in England. She got okayed to bake & sell cakes from her home. She is making a killing out of it!! She stays busy for sure! She has a least 2-3 cakes due a week!!!! I can't remember what she had to do but I do think somone had to come in & inspect her house. There from the base. So email her she can help you out! It's easier to do cakes in base housing then off base.. you have to go by state rules.. Tell her Tina told you to email her...

TC! I dont check cake business forum much either, which is why I am just getting this.. our base here is horrible about home businesses... you can't do pampered chef, longaberger, home and garden, tupperware, nothing like that. The base commander sucks, he is such a butt head, heck you cant go into the shoppette and buy wine coolers, wine, beer, nothing like that without it being in a double bag so that people can see it. So I know it would be a no go on the cakes. Besides the base closes by Dec 31 this year, and we leave here and go to Langley VA in a couple of months so I think it would be a waste of time to start now. But I may keep her in mind when I get to Langley, so I know where to start there....I imagine being in the states may be harder then over here... thanks again!!!! you and tcrema need to get in the same area and open a business of your own!!! you both would kick butt!!!!! thumbs_up.gif
