I finally did it tonight! I made MMF. Wow was it easy. But I have one question...... all my powdered sugar was not used with the marshmellow. It was like it wouldn't "hold" anymore. Is this normal? I had about 1- 1.5 cups left in the bowl. It feels right and taste good. Just wondering what if anything I did wrong. Thank you
Judy

I never mix it all in... just go by the feel. Glad it worked out for you!

I just made my first batch of MMF tonigh too and I also had a problem with left over powdered sugar. What I done was made a hole in the mmf and put some of the left over ps in it and kneaded it. I kept doing this until all th ps was used. It's really not that sticky so I don't know if i did it icon_confused.gif right.

I also made my first batch of MMF tonight and I used all the powdered sugar plus some to get the right texture. But it's very humid here tonight so that might have something tonight. By the way my MMF turned out great too and I'm sooooooooooo happy. thumbs_up.gif It tastes ten times better than that Wilton pre-packaged stuff, so thanks to everyone for the tip!

I've made several batches now and always used up all the sugar... BUT when mixing it in the bowl it acted like it was too much till I transferred it my countertop and started kneading it in like bread dough. After several minutes it turned into a beautiful dough, much like bread dough, and was all incorporated in and very beautiful.
