When i do borders on my cakes, especially round cakes, I have trouble with the border when it meets the beginning. I can never get it to join without smashing the starting shell, or just looking wrong. Any tips??
Thanks

icon_sad.gif Sorry that I can't say exactly what to do, but I'll share with you how I do it...

I do start at the back, and I make sure I know on each layer what is going to be the back.
When I see that I'm coming to the end soon, I can gradually ease in the tip to where it's somewhat close to the underside of the beginning.
Does that make any sense? icon_rolleyes.gif
Hopefully someone else can give some advice also!
