Thanks for all your ideas with the light bulb cake that i had to do this week. Ill attach a picture for those who would like to see. I am inrterested in any feedback. I used a sprtsball pan and 2 6 inch rounds cut in half to make my light bulb and then placed on top of a 10 inch round. This cover in MMF.
TIA
John
It looks awesome!!!! I'm curious why a light bulb too???? Good job!

Thank you so much!
I see on the lightbulb where you used the sportsball pan but where did you use the 2 six inch pans cut in half??? I don't see how the "stem" of the bulb is the 2 six inch pans??? By the way, the cake looks really small to be the pan sizes you say they are. Did you stand on a chair to take the picture?? That might be why it looks small to me.
You did a really great job with this. I would have never thought to make a lightbulb cake.

Okay, so I just reread my post and boy I sound like I'm critisizing....I'M NOT!!! I LOVE it! I'm just trying to picture in my head how you did it!

I think that you did a great job, I know that this was a big deal for you Being your 1st real order....
I think that you have big ideas and thinking big will get you far here.
Congratulations..........you already know I thought the light should have been yellow. But other then that I dont think I could have done better.

The 6 inch cakes where shaved down to make it more realistic looking, and after i took the picture I thought it lookod small too but its on a 10 inch round I swear...
This is so great....how did you get the icing so shiny?
The shiny icing was an accident, it was kinda warm where i rolled the MMF out so I put the cake near an airconditioning vent and I guess it just built up the humidity. It looked OK but if you touched the MMF the colors bleed.
AThis is amazing. It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm not sure I can pull it off?..
