I just bought a can of Wilton gumpaste mix. The can says to mix all the contents with water. Does the whole can need to be made at one time? I just want to practice and I dont want to make the entire can. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA MC

Honestly, I haven't done much with gumpaste, but I'm working on it. I did not want to use more than I thought was manageable when I've used it, and I did not want to waste. What I did, was put a fairly small amount of gumpaste in a bowl, and then added very small amounts of water until I got a consistency I could work with. I didn't use measurements and it worked out just fine.
