I just looked at the recipes for Enhanced and Super Enhanced Recipes. I was wondering from those who have actually tried it. Is it like Pound cake because thats what it says on the recipe. I would love to try it but I'm looking for a very light yellow or white cake mix enhancer if there is any. I want something a little lighter than pound cake if anyone has any recipes. Thanks A Million! - Kenya

Hi Kenya,
I use this recipe quite often. The way that it turns out is kind of like a pound cake but when you cut into it...it's very soft, moist and has great texture to it. Hope that helps.

I recently used the "cake mix extender" on this site with a yellow cake mix. I had more people tell me it was "the best cake they EVER had!" I must say it was really good & I am usually not a big fan of cake mix cakes... I would always rather do it all from scratch if possible but I will never use just a cake mix again w/ out this extender. It also makes more batter. It was more like a pound cake, than the normal fluffy cake mix cakes.... it was SO YUMMY!! Must be the sour cream..... icon_smile.gif Good Luck!
