I just bought the Wilton Tilting Turntable. I have heard mixed reviews. One person (actually the girl at the register) told me she had a 4 tier wedding cake on it and it slid right off and ruined her cake. She called Wilton and they refunded her money (in product) and didn't even make her send it back. Now I am a bit worried. I used a Jo Ann's 50% off and have been wanting it for a long time.

Has anyone used this before with bad or good results? Opinions needed before I open the box.

ok, come on now. I have never made a wedding cake before.I have made tiered cakes and common sense would tell me NOT to put a four tiered cake on a tilt icon_eek.gif . Duh icon_confused.gif . I would think as long as you don;t stack 4 cakes you should be fine

There was a big discussion on this turntable on the Wilton site, if you do a search you will likely find it. Seemed to get mixed reviews, some people found that some of the turntables were faulty, others liked them. Seemed to depend on which box you got. For some, the turntables didn't hold in the tilted position. I guess it is like buying a car, some folks will get the lemons, others will not. Hope you didn't get a lemon kiddo!
