hya there. icon_biggrin.gif

I believe the batch of MMF yields about 5 pounds, which should be enough to cover a 6" and 8" round cake, with a few scraps left over, maybe even enough for another 6". Hope this helps some.

one pound of marshmellows...2 pounds 10x sugar...that's about..3 pounds of fondant..

that's enough to cover a 14 x 3 inch cake..

that's enough for 2, 6 inch cakes and one 8 inch cake.

Is this the same as the wilton rolled fondant or is it better tasting. And also can you treat it the same such as coloring and rolling, etc.

it tastes like a marshmellow without all that air..lol. I don't know I just made it and haven't worked with it yet. There are many answers to your questions..just put "MARSHMELLOW FONDANT" in your search box.

I do know that it's easy to make and that it's much cheaper to make, so it's a great "practice" medium.

MMF is much better tasting than Wilton. As a matter of fact, gasoline is much better tasting than Wilton. LOL....

It tastes just like Marshmallows, maybe sweeter, but you can flavor it with candy flavorings if you like.
