Once youve realized what a stupid decision youve made by DRAMATICALLY uderpricing a cake and feel its not worth your time only AFTER you've told the client, "I'll see what I can work out for your budget", how do you go back on that without looking like a total jackass?

It sounds as if you hadn't given a definate price yet.....simply tell that that you tallied up all the figures (including your hourly rate!!!) and you just cannot do it for less than _____ .

Don't take the job if you will resent it.
