I am so not happy right now! I went to bake the Wilton Rubber Ducky pan, filled it almost to overflowind, as advised to, and let it bake for a good hour, tested the cake with the LONG tester in several directions, making sure I tested the body. The tester came out clean, so I removed the pathetic thing from the oven. I let it cool for about 10 minutes, took the top part of the pan off with no problem at all and after another 20 minutes or so, I went to take the cake out of the bottom pan only to have the head fall off, the body broke in half, and batter oozed out of the middle. Poor Ducky! I was supposed to bring it to a children's party at church, but I had to call my Pastor and tell her that the duck died. However, I will be making another this weekend just so I can say that the duck didn't beat me! (I'll post both pictures at the same time)

I made a bear and the cake was done, but he still lost his head...I used a cake mix that I doctored and the formula was not heavy enough..Plus I didn't get the heating core in the right spot...I feel your pain!!!
I'm sorry to hear this... I am supposed to make this cake next week for a baby shower... now im "worried" lol... guess I'll have to play around with it
