I made the ice chest w/ beer cake and tried to make an open lid for it. I frosted a giant rice krispie treat and stuck two dowels through it. After I inserted the dowels into the cake, I thought "I should put another dowel behind it to help support the weight. As I turned to grab another dowel out of the drawer.....BAM...the lid fell onto the table. Of course, taking out the whole back of the cake.
I decided since it was already almost 2 am that I shouldn't try to reposition the heavy lid into the cake. I 'spackled' the back with some leftover frosting and just leaned the lid up against the back of the cake.
Luckily the cake was for a friend and not a well paying client. hehe

Good thinking, I don't think my brain would have functioned that well at the time of night.
