Ok, well it looks like i have a few questions.

I need to make a cake for my son's first birthday for about 60 people. I want a large rectangle cake with the 3-D cruiser on top. I don't have one large pan.

1.) Can i put two 2-layer 9x13's next to each other to make it look like one larger cake (would that look ok?)

2.) Would I put a cruiser shaped cake board under the 3-D cruiser before placing it on the larger cake?

any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I finished 3 classes in course 1 wilton, and am really nervous-the party is on 10/22.

thanks!!

I am a newbie, but I have seen people talking about
putting 2 cakes side by side to make a larger one. You are definitely going to have to dowel that cake though to put another one on top or it'll look like your car is stuck in snow or mud, depending on the icing color, hee hee....Hope that helps

yes, you can definately put 2 9x13's side by side..and make sure to put a board under the car and to be safe i would also dowel.

I agree with everyone else.

How large is the cruiser because you want to have enough room for it to look right?

It's the wilton 3-D cruiser pan. It fits one boxed cake mix, it's probably 5-6 inches high?
