Hi! I was looking into getting a printer for edible images and was wondering what the differences was between the 2 printers.

The iP3000 uses 4 cartridges and the 4000 uses 5. I'd go with the iP3000 just to save on the expense of having to buy an extra cartridge. I haven't noticed any difference in the quality of the images they print. They're both good printers.
