Not sure exactly how to, but what about a nativity scene?

That's what I was thinking, sounds like the best way to incorporate Christmas and a new baby!

How about a Christmas stocking with the baby's name on it, and a baby poking out of the stocking? My preemie dtr was born on Dec 16 and on Christmas day that's how they brought her to my room...tucked into a stocking!

My daughter was born Dec. 23, and Santa came in to see her....gave her a lollipop...LOL like she knew he was even there.... anyways, they put her in a red stocking with a little santa hat on to bring her home in....it was really cute..
you could do something like that....
Make a sheet cake and either do a BC transfer or just free hand it on the cake....

Hope this is not too late! I co-hosted a Christmas baby shower last year, and one of the things we did was set a mini-Christmas tree on the gift table. The "decorations" on the tree were all baby items like booties, rattles, rubber duckies, etc. For the top we used a baby hat. Maybe you could use a tree-shaped pan if you like the idea. HTH!
