My 7-year old daughter and I had a girls day and she wanted to make a cake. I baked it for her, but she did all of the decorating herself. I've never even showed her how to use one of the decorating bags. I gave her icing, a hear shaped cake, and the bags and this is what she created:

She shaped the birds herself out of icing. Can you tell I'm a proud mother?

She also made a rose out of playdoh last night with me. Thanks for looking.

AWWWW she did a great job! Your little helper. My son gets his own cake when I am decorating but he sure doesnt make anything like that. Kids are so cute you should be proud. I wish I had a picture of my cakes when I decorated with my mom.

My daughter was so excited when she got home yesterday and saw all of your nice comments on her cake and rose. She wanted to tell you thank you. I only helped her with some of the spelling...the rest was hers.

I think someone should bring it up to Jackie about placing a gallery section for CC Kids! One for ages 12 and under and another ages 13 - 18 ??
I do believe 18 is the correct age that someone would say your an adult now.. legally at least!

Kids are So Much fun in the kitchen, you should see the chocolate chip cookies my daughter makes. I about fall out when I look at the sheet. Some are tee tiny and some need to be cut into 4ths..haha.. I let my daughter use the practice board that comes in the wilton kit. I said Omg, I will have a decorator on my hands before long.

ge- I think its wonderful all the sweet things your daughter said about you, remember Your making Lasting Memories with her. and it helps keep you close to your kids thats my favorite part of it =0).
