I use a cookie glaze

2 cups icing sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon corn syrup
I add almond extract but you can use vanilla or your fav.
Mix together with a spoon. This is for piping the outline and you can thin down a little to fill in.
Adjust the consistancy by either adding more icing sugar or more water..
It dries hard enough to stack the cookies but not as hard as royal icing.
