I'm looking for great (that you've had great experiences with, customer service, etc.) online resources for ordering supplies. I'm particularly in need of ordering impression mats for decorating icing. I can't seem to find where any suppliers carry them locally. icon_smile.gif

Try earlenecakes.com. I got my impression mats from her. They are great.

I got an impression mat from Cakes By Sam and she had great customer service and I love the mat. I used it on the wedding cake in my photos.

I purchased mine on line from "cakes by Sam". A couple of weeks ago her site was doing reconstruction but you might try now. I also purchased the edible pearls there.

you will have to copy and past the above link into your web address field.

This link should take to the store on line.

Happy shopping

Just wondering if these mats are flexible like rubber, or if they are the stiff plastic? Earlene's mat on sugarcraft.com says it's made of the same thing as candy molds. Is that the kind you all use?

Cakesbysam.com has fast shipping.. I ordered a foam castle earlier in the year and just ordered the diamond and line impression mats along with some pixie dust.... I love that site!! And yes they are plastic, yet very sturdy and flexible at the same time.. Not ver big though.. But I still love them.. I had not problem with orders or shipping, so that goes to show you wont have to deal with customer service...

I have bought a few and they are not as they are pretty flexible.... Similar to the candy molds, yes.
