I have made the MM fondant just to play with it a little bit but got distracted and left it out all night...oops icon_redface.gif . Has anyone made bows (the larger kind with lots of loops) with it? Do they get hard like they would with normal fondant?

Also, I'm looking for a yummy buttercream recipe that will be able to withstand a two hour car ride. I'm afraid to make a frosting with milk due to the spoiling factor. Is that even something I should worry about? Someone mentioned in another post that salt in a recipe will keep the milk from spoiling. Is this true? That would be a great relief! I just don't want people getting sick from frosting on a cake I made thumbsdown.gif

Thanks so much for any suggestions. I'm so glad this site exists! Everyone here is always so nice & helpful.

I have had cake sit out on the counter for almost a week an no one has gotten sick from it. I think it's actually the sugar in the icing that acts as the preservative for the milk.
