what are you using to grease your pans?

I have many different brands and what I use is the Homemade Cake Release. Equal parts of Flour, Oil, Crisco. You can do as little or as large of a batch as needed.

I use a pastry brush to coat the pans and get down into the grooves. I don't do a lot so i'm not sure I can be much more help.

I too use my own pan coat, mixed the exact same way .. coat it pretty heavy and make sure you get it coated in all the crevices .. good luck and let us know how it works out for you icon_smile.gif

I own a non-stick bunt pan, and cakes still stick if I don't bake it long enough, so I always add on an extra 5 min. after the toothpick (or wooden skewer in this case) test comes out cleen. I also make sure I let it cool enough before trying to get it out, because a lot of times if its too hot the cake will split in half (horizontaly) when I turn it upside down.
