I have that half-ball soccer cake pan...

How do I bake the cake completely, and not have it get hard on the sides while getting the center done?

It's way to tall for a flower nail. I bake at 325. Can't put cake strips on it....is there another way? icon_confused.gif

I always just fill it 3/4-2/3 the way and bake it like a normal cake. 325 for 20-30 minutes should work. It should be fine and bake evenly without any extras I've always had great results without anything extra. Though you will have to level it so the two peices come together evenly.
