Hi everyone,
My husband for my birthday got for me an airbrush and now I need to find out how to use it in decorating a cake. My first question is can I use gel paste thing out or chalk? If there is anyone out there that can help me I would love to hear from all of you.

Also my daughter's birthday is coming up and she is into the castles and knights. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do for her, this will be the first time she will see my new work and not on email.

Thanks,
mrsjah

There are specific airbrush liquid colors that are made solely for an airbrush.I wouldn't suggest that you thin down gel or dilute chalks as this will clog the airbrush and cleaning it will prove very difficult!! Kopykake.com sells the colors in a kit or individually!! For the $25.00 investment it is worth the trouble free hassles!!

You will need to get the proper airbrush food colouring. You can spray petal and luster dusts using clear alcohol, but you will need to make sure you clean the airbrush well afterwards. I love airbrushing so if you have any questions just ask.

I want to thank you both for your help in the airbrush area. I do have a question. Is there a book or video to show me how to do airbrushing? And any information on the use wold be a great help.

Again thank you both
