I'm going to do a tuxedo flavored cake (1 layer white and 1 layer chocolate) for my parents 30th wedding anniversary. I was just wondering do any of you know which layer is on the top and which is on the bottom? Does it matter? I've never seen one, just heard. Thanks

I really don't think it would matter. Me? I probably put choc. on the bottom!

I don't know either but it just 'feels' like the chocolate should be on the bottom.

I am with them on this one. The chocolate looks "heavier" than the white and therefore I think it would look best on the bottom.

Love your description - at first I read this as a cake flavored like a tuxedo.... Hmmmm.... What does black wool gabardine taste like???
