I made a BUNCH of cookies today (NFSC) for my son's 100th day and VDay. They are now wrapped in saran wrap and in a plastic "tupperware" box. Do I need to freeze them or no? And if I should freeze them should I do a better job wrapping them in the box? Should I wrap EACh cookie??
Help!! icon_cry.gif
Thanks
Tara

I would freeze them, and the Tupperware box is sufficient. They would probably last, but they will be much fresher tasting if they stay frozen for a while.

No, don't freeze them. They'll be fine. I commonly bake my cookie 2-3 weeks ahead of an event. I do individually wrap them if there decorated thought. If their not decorated, I just put them in an airtight container. I've talked to professional bakers about this and they do the same thing.

Good luck.

I ALWAYS freeze mine. Use the NFSC recipe, place them in a freezer ziploc baggie, and then take out a few hours or so before I decorate them! I make tons of cookies at one time and freeze them - easier for las tminute orders!
